Today we are going to teach you how to create sleek Web 2.0 Colored Stickers,we will make in different shapes but with same technique, i hope you will like it.
Step 1.
Open a new document of your desired resolution, create a new layer and Select Elliptical Marquee Tool and make a round selection in the document
and fill it with any color
Step 2.
Now open Blending options of that layer and apply drop shadow and gradient overlay
Now thats what you have
Step 3.
Now Select Polygonal Lasso Tool and make Rectangular selection on the right side as shown below
Step 4.
Now Concentrate on that step, Press Ctrl+X to cut the selected round area, then press Ctrl+V to paste this, then press Ctrl+T and select Rotate 180 degree and place it on the exact edge from where we cut it, and fill it with white
Now you will have something like that
Step 5.
Now open blending options of that layer and apply drop shadow and gradient overlay
thats looking cool now, but we are not done yet
Step 6.
Now Select our 1st layer and duplicate it by pressing Ctrl+J and fill it with black as shown
Step 7.
Now Load the Selection of that layer, Go to Select> Load Selection and then again Go to Select > Modify > Contract and contract it to 20 pixels and press Ok
Step 8.
Now Keep the selection loaded and press delete key to remove the center area as shown
Step 9.
Now Go to Layers Palette and simply change this layer’s properties to Soft light as shown
Its Done now
This is our Final image, we designed all these with same method but different shapes, i hope you are now able to create these stickers in any shape
