Today we are going to make holes in metallic texture, a nice looking clean look high resolution metallic texture,you can also use it as a pattern. lets get started.

Step 1.
Open a new document of 1280 x 1024 px resolution, create a new layer and apply light reflected gradient in it as shown


Step 2.
Right Click on your layer and select Convert to Smart Object, this way we can apply filters on it.

Step 3.
Now Go to Filter> Noise> Add Noise and apply the given noise

You will have something like that

Step 4.
Now Again to Filter> Blur> Motion Blur and apply the 40 pixels distance to our Noisy sheet.

Our Metallic texture is ready

Step 5.
Now lets make holes in it, create a new layer and select Elliptical Marquee tool and make a small circle on your texture and fill it with any color

Step 6.
Now Open Blending options to apply some effects on it.



Thats what we have now…super cool hole is ready, seems like there are bunch of layers under that hole, but its just a magic of effects.

Step 7.
Now Spread them in a straight line by duplicating them and enabling guide lines to align them


Step 8.
Simply Select all layers and merge them, then duplicate to spread all over the document as shown
